Rocky Mountain Inn

Older 1-story motel, well maintained (though not necessarily updated) with lots of trees, shrubs, & flowers on the grounds. Nice outdoor seating areas. The manager who greeted us was very friendly & our room was ready early. Wifi, TV, refrigerator & microwave all worked well. We walked a few blocks for dinner at a terrific Mexican restaurant.

My partner and I loved staying here; it had a perfect location, just blocks from good restaurants and the main streets, lovely neighborhood walks, and in a central location for exploring the countryside nearby by car. It's charm lay in it's clean simple furnishings of everything essential, and good coffee, to boot. The young man at the desk was very helpful and the management was responsive immediately with a little problem we had with the booking. Unpretentious, and such a refreshing change from the usual low budget chain hotels.

The outdoor space had numerous places to sit, a picnic table, and was landscaped and decorated with interesting statues, objects, and there was even a totem pole near the office.

Great location as we could walk to everything in town. The staff was wonderful and treated us like friends from the very beginning.

This hotel was clean. The person working the desk, Ethan, was very nice. We were there during a heat wave, asked for a fan and he graciously provided one. The beds were comfortable.
